The critically acclaimed ‘Australia’ exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts in 2013 was the most comprehensive survey of Australian art in the UK for 50 years. The exhibition spanned more than 200 years from 1800 to the present day and sought to uncover the fascinating social and cultural evolution of a nation through its art.
To mark the event, the Australian High Commission appointed four23 to develop a digital platform connecting people in the UK with the art of Australia.
The Australian Nexus, is an open source platform where artists, galleries and cultural institutions can promote their exhibition and events to a connected, and engaged community who are excited to explore the future of Australian arts and culture.
