This week sees the publication of ‘A Sporting Monograph’, a hardback book, celebrating the 37-year career of adidas Head of Sport, Robin Money.
four23 founder Warren Bramley spent time with Robin over a period of several weeks, resulting in a series of conversations, unearthing Robin’s most memorable stories, anecdotes and learnings, and crafted them into a narrative that captures nearly four decades at the top of international sport.
The book takes in Robin’s own career as a rugby player and captain of Leicester Tigers, through to Daley Thompson taking Gold at the 1984 LA Games, Prince Naseem’s reign as Featherweight Champion of the world, Jonny Wilkinson’s feats during England’s winning 2003 Rugby World Cup campaign, and concluding with a personal reflection on retirement after the 2012 London Olympics.
Warren’s writing is interspersed with contributions from sporting icons including David Beckham, Sir Alex Ferguson, Jessica Ennis-Hill and Sir Clive Woodward.
