four23 have returned from Brazil, having directed the second part of a 360° immersive documentary filmed in the Complexo de Maré favela in Rio de Janeiro.
The film explores the world of Fight For Peace, a charitable foundation started, in Rio de Janeiro, with the aim of helping young people realise their potential through boxing and martial arts. The film follows the story of Miriam, who shares her experiences of the favela, a community split by two rival drug gangs, and her life within the Fight For Peace academy as an amateur boxer.
The documentary was premiered at the Team GB headquarters, on the opening night of the Rio 2016 Summer Olympics.
